EGT Probes are a useful piece of data in troubleshooting and understanding the performance of your engine.

Note: we have demonstrated and consistently created bends up to 90 degrees on these sensors to accomodate less than 90 degree bends and custom requirements. Can only be bent one time without damage.

We recommend 1/4 to 3/8" protrusion into exhaust for accurate reading. 

Please note: when comparing multiple EGT probes, these temperatures are to be used for reference. Differing prove exposure (length into exhaust) as well as exhaust flow can dictate small differences between cylinders which do not always accurately represent true differences.
